Our efforts would not have been fruitful without the guidance and support of Abby Mann, Digital Scholarship librarian, Dr. Alyssa Culp, Visiting Professor of History, Liz Bloodworth, University Archivist, and the cooperation of Stephanie Davis-Kahl, University Librarian. We are grateful to the Ames Library for providing us with the opportunity to learn the principles of digital humanities and apply them through a project of this nature. Through the past five weeks, we have learned in great depth about the illustrious history of IWU’s libraries, and as we celebrate 175 years of IWU’s conception, it is incredibly important to acknowledge the role that libraries play in our lives as students, and in general, for campus communities across the country!
