Changes in Priorities
During the planning of Sheean and Ames Library, the presidents at the time requested that a librarian consultant complete a site visit to our libraries in order to hear what changes need to be made.
These figures show a visualization of how much the words "Students" and "Space" are used. Using the graphs on the right, you can see how the priority of "student" and "space" change for each library.
In the graph for Buck Memorial Library, "Space" and "Students" are rarely moving together. This shows how when considering improvements for the library, the site consultant showed less of a concern for making spaces for students.
When it came time for Sheean to be reviewed, the consultant showed more of a concern for student spaces. This can be seen in the second graph, with how both lines mostly move together.
This helps us see that likely, when talking about space, the consultant was relating that back to the student body.
